Solution for different fractures

Patellar bone fracture treatment is a challange as fragement can be small and in difficult position. Removal of the fragment can cause osteoarthritis.

ActivaPin™ can reach the fragment with precise accuracy and ActivaNail™ with its conical head gives extra pressure surface if needed. With bigger fragments and more compression, select ActivaScrew™ Cannulated.

Patella fracture fixation with Activa products

Fixing a small patella fracture can be tough, but with ActivaPin™ or ActivaNail™ that can be done too. With the user-friendly applicator, the proximal head sinks 1mm under the cortex level and leaves no protruding parts which could cause problems during the recovery. The patented Self-Locking SL™ fixes the implant even more to the bone, as the diameter expands 1-2 % in human body conditions.

ActivaScrew™ Cannulated can be used with bigger fragments and with the arthroscopic applicator. The arthroscopic applicator is used without the adapter head of the ActivaScrew™ Cannulated.
